Steven Epstein and Bob Katz at New York AES for questions and answers with MAGIX
MAGIX provides a look in to Samplitude Pro X and Sequoia 12
Berlin, 13 October, 2011 – The Berlin based software company MAGIX will be taking part in this year’s AES Convention in New York – one of the most important music fairs in the professional audio industry. Tim Dolbear, the Product Specialist for Sequoia and Samplitude will be there, presenting the twelfth version of the digital audio workstation Sequoia, and the recently released Samplitude Pro X. At Booth 767 visitors will have the chance to discuss all things DAW, share personal experiences and outline requirements with Tim Dolbear.
This year’s highlight is the visit of the renowned claasical music producer, Steven Epstein. At 11 a.m. on 21 October, 2011 he will be the contact person at MAGIX AG’s booth 767. In the past Epstein has worked with some real musical greats: Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis, Plácido Domingo, Isaac Stern, Itzhak Perlman, Murray Perahia, and the Punch Brothers. Currently he holds the position of Senior Executive Producer for Sony Classical and has won a total of 15 Grammys in his career to date.
Another meet and greet will be held with one of the world’s most respected mastering engineers Bob Katz. He too is responsible for mastering several Grammy winning albums and has worked for artists such as Ben Kingsley, Herbie Mann, Phil Woods, Livingston Taylor, New York Renaissance Band, Jackie McLean and Olga Tañon among others. Bob Katz will be at booth 767 on 23 November, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Tim Dolbear.
